COVERING
THIS "SICK BEAT"

Hey, hey, hey... when I left news five years ago to focus on mental health and sobriety, I jocularly said I would only return if I could cover Taylor Swift every day. I never imagined the role would become available for the largest newspaper company in America. I sat down with NBC Anchor Emma Jade to discuss the role, a day in the life and Easter eggs.

ROAD TO SOBRIETY

My goal is to bring light to dark places! No matter how dark your world may be with depression, anxiety, or a fear of the unknown, there is always a way to move forward and rise from rock bottom.

Many hide their past in fear that it will come back to haunt them, but I share my story hoping to help others. I wrote a personal essay six months into sobriety about the night of August 8, 2018. I take full responsibility for my actions and the night that changed my life... the night I took my last drink.

I am so grateful for a second chance. I am grateful to be sober. And I am grateful for the opportunity to help anyone suffering from addiction. It gets better! Keep moving onward and upward.

ABOUT ME

After graduating from Northwestern University, I worked as a morning show planner, then investigative producer, and finally a broadcast reporter for the NBC in Phoenix. During that time, I won two-Emmys, a Murrow and a duPont.

When I am not covering the massive "Eras Tour," I am at CrossFit, running or watching F1.

Hope you have an auspicious day and thank you for visiting my site!
